ABOUT

Liz Samuel, is a SAG-AFTRA actress, producer, and writer who enjoys navigating the realms of film, TV, and theatre. With a grown-up girl-next-door charm and a flair for comedy, Liz enjoys both comedic and dramatic work, and collaborating with creatives whether for screen or stage.

Recent TV credits include the Rabbi in "Dear Edward" on Apple TV, the Realtor in "Lincoln Rhyme: The Hunt for Bone Collector," the intense Mrs Ruhl in “East New York” and the delightful Rabbi Liebling in Adam Sandler's Netflix film, "The Week Of." 

Liz's versatility extends to the stage, with memorable roles like Catherine in "PROOF" and Suzanne in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile." Her creativity shines in the award-winning web series "MOMTRESS," a semi-autobiographical dramedy exploring the challenges of parenting, aging, and maintaining a thriving acting career.

Liz holds a BS in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University and she spent her first few years out of college producing non-scripted content for TV Networks such as VH1, MTV, Nickelodeon, PBS and more. While producing she studied acting in NYC at the T. Schreiber Studio and Sally Johnson Studio. Commercials and indie films were Liz’s first foray into a professional acting career and later she moved on to bigger projects and productions. 

Beyond her acting prowess, Liz is the host and producer of the Montclair Story Salon, a bi-monthly storytelling event series. Offstage, she embodies the grown-up girl-next-door, calling Montclair, NJ, home, and immersing herself in its vibrant creative community alongside her husband, two teens, and golden retriever, Matisse.
